Our Mission

The CBAA Soccer program is dedicated to the task of promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer for the youth and families of the Central Bucks area. The CBAA Soccer program will strive to develop players at all ages and levels of play: recreational; travel; and premier. We are dedicated to developing players and coaches to the highest level through a quality instructional program.

CBAA soccer program willcultivate each player's mind, body and spirit by:

  • building, developing, and improving their skills and fitness levels
  • instilling confidence, initiative, emotional growth
  • embracing and nurturing a sense of community and teamwork
  • advocating high standards of sportsmanship and fair play

Our Philosophy

All CBAA coaches and volunteers shall operate in such a way as to encourage maximum participation so that all boys and girls are provided opportunity to compete regardless of abilities or talents. Participation in CBAA Intramural Soccer will be without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex or financial status or physical ability.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the CBAA Intramural Soccer league is to provide for and encourage youth participation in recreational soccer within the Central Bucks County community. CBAA Intramural Soccer will, through our soccer activities, promote sportsmanlike competition, provide training in the technical, tactical, physical and mental components to soccer, and offer a recreational alternative to drugs, alcohol and juvenile delinquency.

Our Goals   CBAA Intramural Soccer has two simple goals for its participants:  To learn the technical, tactical, physical and mental components to playing soccer;  and to have fun!   "Winning" for CBAA Intramural Soccer is not defined by the score at the end of the game but by the recognition among each of our players that he/she learned how to play the game of soccer, contributed to the team, and had fun.  Our players will learn that they can succeed in a team sport without winning the game.

CBAA Soccer Reintegration Announcement

CBAA Intramural Soccer (IM) & Buckingham United Soccer Club (BUSC)

The CBAA Executive Board has begun the process of re-integrating the administration and operations of our intramural & travel soccer programs; CBAA Intramural Soccer and Buckingham United Soccer Club.  The reintegration of the program into one management structure is consistent with the CBAA By-Laws.  We believe that combining the organizations will provide a platform for the CBAA Soccer Program to grow, in terms of youth participation, volunteerism and the overall quality of the experience that our member families and players have.

A single organization is the model used by CBAA’s two other sports programs.  CBAA Basketball includes both intramural and travel and is managed by a single management team.  CBAA Lightning Lacrosse which includes both boys and girls programs is operated by a single management team.

Herbst Sports Complex

CBAA and it's four sports programs currently owns approximately 28 acres of land in Plumstead township. The land was purchased in two transactions and these plots are defined as Herbst I and Herbst II tracts. CBAA has developed 8 fields used for soccer and lacrosse.

Also located at Herbst Park are outdoor lighted basketball courts. Special programs and summer basketball leagues are played here. Combined with the fields, these have helped make the Herbst Sports Complex one of the best local sports facilities.

Utilizing outdoor fields rented or adopted from the Buckingham and Doylestown Townships, the Central Bucks School District and other local entities, CBAA is working to meet the demands of the almost 2,000 area youth who want to play soccer and lacrosse.
