Trevor Davis was named as a First Team All-State pitcher by the Associated Press. Trevor also competed in the All State baseball series at Yakima's Parker Field on June 13-14. Trevor had a 9-1 record on the hill with a 2.03 ERA, and struck out 88 batters.
Senior Casey Collins was named 2nd Team All State as an outfielder after batting .403, with 28 RBI, and scored 34 runs. Junior shortstop Luke Dilly was named All-State Honorable Mention after batting .392, with a league leading 38 RBI.
All State Baseball Series June 13-14
The Cashmere Bulldogs were awarded the 4th place trophy in class 1A baseball on Saturday. The Bulldogs finished the season with 21-5 record. On Saturday, the Dogs fell to the Chimacum Cowboys in the 3rd/4th place game by a score of 18-4. Cashmere committed 6 errors, and allowed 16 hits to the Cowboys. Cashmere's Trevor Davis was 3-4 with an RBI, and stole two bases. Cory Roberts blasted a mammoth solo homerun for the Bulldogs.
In the semifinal game on Friday morning the Bulldogs were shutout by the Kalama Chinooks by a score of 3-0. Trevor Davis picked up his first loss of the season (9-1) on the hill. Davis went 6 innings, giving up just 2 hits, 6 Ks, and 8 BB.
The Bulldogs end their 2009 season with 21 wins (most in school history), a CTL league championship, a District 6/7 championship, a Region IV championship, and a 4th place trophy in State 1A baseball. The Bulldogs will graduate 4 seniors: Trevor Davis, Matthew Miller, Casey Collins, and A.J. Metcalfe.
Senior Trevor Davis has been named MVP of the Caribou Trail League for the 2009 season. Davis, Casey Collins, Matthew Miller, and Luke Dilly were all named 1st Team All League. Sophomore catcher Tyler McNair was named on the 2nd team, and Nick Tarver, Spencer Lee, and Cory Roberts recieved honorable mention.
The Cashmere Bulldogs dominated both of their opponents in regional play on Saturday at Recreation Park in Wenatchee. In the first game they defeated the Connell Eagles 11-1, and in the Regional Championship they hammered the Freeman Scotties by a score of 15-2. The Bulldogs are now headed to Yakima to face the Kalama Chinooks on Friday at 10 AM in the State Semifinals at Yakima County Stadium.
Senior Trevor Davis (9-0) led the way in the first game on Saturday by firing an 144 pitch, 1 hitter vs. Connell. He went the distance while allowing just 1 earned run, and struck out 12 and walked 7. He also helped himself at the plate by going 2-3, scoring 3 runs, with 2 doubles. Senior Matthew Miller was 3-4 and scored 3 runs, and added a RBI triple.

In the Regional Championship against Freeman, Matthew Miller saved his best performance of the season on the hill by going 5 1/3 innings and allowing just 1 run, 5 hits, 2 Ks, 2 BB. He threw a season high 86 pitches.
