College rugby clubs in the EPRU contact information
A high percentage of Doylestown Jr. Rugby Players choose to continue their rugby careers at the collegiate level. Currently, there are no Varsity programs at any US University or College but most have club programs and at least one school (Penn State) has moved the program from Club status to a Team Sport which provides for more access to University facilities and funding. There are a limited number of scholarship opportunities at some schools, again most notably a $1000.00 scholarship for incoming Freshman who play at Penn State. With the growing popularity of rugby at the college level, several programs have stepped up recruiting programs for experienced rugby athletes. Players are strongly encouraged to contact the rugby coaches to find out more about their club program and scholarship opportunities.
Former D'town Dragons have gone on to join college clubs, including the some of the following schools.
