Practice has Started
Men have started practicing! Tues/Thurs nights at 7:00. Directions to the field are on the website.

Summer 7s is here!
Practices are every Wednesday at 7pm. We will be entering tournaments on Saturdays. Come out if you want to play on Saturday, come out if you want to have a good run around. All are welcome.

Men won in Colorado today by a score of 30 - 6. They play Tampa tomorow on the big stage for the national tittle. Join us at Mesquito Grille at 3:30 EST for live streaming of the game. FIRE UP DRAGONS, can you believe it.

Doylestown Through to DII Semis - FINAL FOUR BABY
By Alex Goff Columbia, SC - Doylestown defeated Lincoln Park 29-7 Sunday in the USA Rugby men's DII club quarterfinals. Led by an outstanding day by center Mike Weir, who scored a try and two conversions and was a key compenent of their attack, Doylestown weathered the hot, humid South Carolina weather to book a place in the national semifinals. "We have wanted to apply pressure on both offense and defense all season but a lot of times we've done well on one way and let the other go," said Doylestown coach Chris Amoratis. [+ full article]

2010 CanAm Tournament Update
It was another great year in Saranac/Lake Placid. This year we traveled with 13 first and second year college students all who came through our High school program. See the attached for the entire roster. Our first game was scheduled for 08:00 Saturday morning versus North Penn. Yes, $400 dollars, 350 miles to play a team 30 minutes from our home field. This apparently did not sit well with North Penn either. They were a no show and forfeited the match. [+ full article]

The History of Doylestown Rugby Book Project
We have decided to take on a project that will record the history of the Doylestown Rugby Football Club and its players and supporters from the beginning of time...or 1974. We are looking to collect all the players, former and current, social members, rugger hugger information and stories. We would like to have this book available for the 40th Reunion in five years. We figured it would take this long because of the volume of information that we anticipate receiving. Everyone is invited to share so that we are able to encompass the entire history.
