Recreational Soccer Registration - Please Read Thoroughly

Registration for 1st through 8th grade players is CLOSED! Please do not register unless you are signing up a pre-k or kindergarten player.  

Online registration is simple.  You will need birthdate, emergency contact information, address, and other contact information.  Please be ready with your coach and teammate request, if applicable, and have your credit card information ready.  The program will accept VISA or Mastercard.  American Express is not accepted.    Please register early and on time.

TEAM FORMATION POLICY

Firebirds FC Recreation program is a neighborhood-oriented league. Teams are formed based on age and Firebirds FC does its best to place players with schoolmates or friends from nearby schools and/or neighborhoods.   Assigning players across some 150 teams is a process that requires an early commencement, in order for uniforms, schedules and fields to all be properly prepared for an early September start-up.   PLEASE REGISTER EARLY AND ON TIME!

Initial teams will be formed immediately after June 20, 2010.  Rosters will be filled to capacity at that time with players registered and paid to that point.  We create team rosters early to ensure proper placement of players and coaches.  Late fees will apply after this cut-off date.   Fall team practice requests from coaches will also be taken and assigned in preference to teams formed subsequent to the initial pool.

Late Recreation Registration will continue to be open until August 1, 2010, at which time paid registrants and coaches will be assigned to newly-formed teams.  "Special requests" for coaches and teams already assigned during the initial team formation will not be honored after the cut-off of June 20, 2010.    The above policies may only apply to registrants entering 1st grade and above in the Fall 2010, as the younger teams require a later formation process. Pre-K and Kinder registration will close August 29th, 2010.

RECREATION REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee for the seasonal year of Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 is $135. (As of July 14, 2010 a late fee of $15 has been added). This fee is all-inclusive and provides for a team uniform** and a new soccer ball for every player.   Your player will also be enrolled in the Real Salt Lake Juniors Program.  In addition, our recreation teams are provided opportunities to receive additional skills, speed and agility, and technical training by licensed, professional coaches and trainers throughout the season.   Recreation fees also cover field rental fees, paid referees for all games, and field marking and goal setup on game days.

CLUB FEE REFUND POLICY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

FALL 2010 - SPRING 2011 SOCCER SEASON
It is the policy of Firebirds FC that once a player is registered for the recreation soccer season(s), the registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.  This allows the Club to ensure the viability of a team for other players who depend on the commitment of all players to the team for their soccer opportunities.  This non-refund policy also allows Firebirds FC to make financial commitments for fields, equipment, referees, and other expenditures necessary for the activities involved for all players for the upcoming year.

IMPORTANT Wait List Information

The Wait List for 1st grade through 8th grade will close on August 15th. Players on the wait list will be placed as roster spots become available. This could be as late as two weeks into the season start date(tentative season start date for 1st grade through 8th grade is September 11th, 2010). The wait list registration fee is $150. Any players on the wait list that FFC is unable to find a roster spot for will be issued a refund for the full $150 registration fee. Refunds will be remitted on or before October 1st, 2010. No wait listed players will be placed on an open team until payment has been received in full.

**You will be asked to enter your player's uniform size.   Because uniform orders are placed in advance of registration closing, FFC endeavors but cannot guarantee that requested sizes will be available.  We will however make every effort to provide your requested sizing or some similar sizing whenever possible.
