Hello Greenjackets, It's hard to believe it, but the 2009 season is right around the corner! I hope you are enjoying your summer, and have just a few important items to share before we get started: 1. Team Equipment Hand Outs- Your coaches should have contacted you by now in regards to the equipment hand out schedule for next week. In regards to that event, you will NOT get your equipment unless ALL of you paperwork is completed and handed in. This includes the physical form and report cards. Thanks for your help in this! 2. Parking- We are very fortunate that East Rockhill Twp. provides the space for us to have our great facility, and we need your help in following the guidlines for parking. There will be NO parking on the grass anywhere at any time at Markey Park. We have a huge parking lot that is to the North of the game field near the scoreboard that is underutilized, plus we will be expanding this area in the very near future as part of our field project. All flag, cheer, and 70 pound teams that practice behind the fieldhouse should utilize this lot for practice parking. Also, any competitive teams at the far end of the practice field near the scoreboard should be parking here as well. We thank you for your cooperation in this! 3. Chain of Command- If issues arise during the season, number one, please remember that we are ALL volunteers in this together, and communication is the key to solving problems. If you have a problem, you go to your coach. If it cannot be solved at that level, then the following chain of command applies: 1. Comp, Non Comp, or Cheer Director 2. Football or Cheerleading Commisioner 3. League Representative 4. Executive Board If this is not followed, the result could be suspension for the parent, and ultimately removal of the family from the program for second offenses. Again, we appreciate your help with this! Thank you to all of the parents and coaches who have been helping out behind the scenes in preparation for our season! It is going to be a great year, and we thank you for your continued support! Lets keep working together to make this program the best in the Bux Mont! Best Regards, Chris Long, President Pennridge Greenjackets |
