Intramural Soccer
The Solebury Soccer club organizes fall intramural play for ages 4 through adult. The program is organized into the following groups.
Pre-K The Pre-K program is a co-ed program run through the club by Smart Soccer. This program requires parental involvement and invites parent and child to play and learn soccer together. The Pre-K program is a one hour program taking place on Saturday mornings for six weeks. The program is open to children who have turned 4 by _____.
Pre-K will meet starting Saturday, September 7, 2012 and run for 6 weeks. (ending October 12th)
The program will meet with Smart Soccer from 8:30-9:30 AM at Laurel Park.
Kindergarten The Kindergarten program is also coed, but steps up to individual teams and coaches. Play is limited to a half-hour training session followed immediately by a half-hour game on Saturdays. These sessions are also run by professional Smart Soccer trainers. Children in this program must be entering kindergarten in the fall.
The Kindergarten program will also meet starting Saturday, September 7, 2012 and run for 6 weeks. (ending October 12th)
1st and 2nd Grade The 1st and 2nd grade programs (Lower Intramural Program) steps up to a mid-week practice and Saturday games. Professional trainers are typically used for approximately half of the practices at this level. Volunteer coaches independently manage most team practices and all games. The season runs for 8 weeks with an optional rain date.
Starting in 1st grade boys and girls are separated. Practices and games typically take place at Laurel Park.
Practices will begin the week of Sept. 1st and games will begin Saturday, September 7th.
Practice Schedule:
1st/2nd Grade Girls will practice Tuesday nights at Laurel Park (Time TBA)
1st/2nd Grade Boys will Practice Thursday nights at Laurel Park (Time TBA)
Smart Soccer will run practices every other week for half the teams.
3rd and 4th Grade The 3rd and 4th grade program (Lower Intramural Program) also includes one mid-week practice and Saturday games. Professional trainers are typically used for approximately half of the practices at this level. Volunteer coaches independently manage most team practices and all games.
Practices and games typically take place at Canal Walk. At this level referees are used in the games.
Practices will begin the week of Sept. 1st and games will begin Saturday, September 7th. The season runs for 8 weeks with an optional rain date.

3rd/4th Grade Boys will practice Wednesday nights at Canal Walk (Time TBA)
Smart Soccer will run practices every other week for half the teams.
UPPER INTRAMURAL PROGRAM (5th-12th Grade)
The 5th grade and up children and young adults (Upper Intramural Program) participate in the Joint Intramural Soccer League with home and away games versus surrounding communities. Coaches assume much more responsibilities as all FIFA rules apply and all games have professional referees. Our teams play in divisions that are organized by grade and by gender. Practices are once per week and games are on weekends.
5th and 6th grade
7th, 8th, and 9th
Grades 10, 11 and 12
(Occasionally adjustments are made to the above age groupings to accommodate our player registrations and to ensure competitive groupings.)
ADULTS
Adults play weekly from late spring to late fall in a non-competitive pick-up format with strict rules to protect and extend our soccer careers. Volunteers are always welcome to help manage the program.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Discounted rates listed below are applicable through June 30, 2013. After June 30 the rates increase by $50, so don't wait to register. Don't forget about the Fall Kick-off Camp. It is a great way to get ready for the season.

Pre-K and Kindergarten--$50 (4:30 pm to 5:45 pm)
Lower/Upper IM--$100 (5:45 pm to 7:45 pm)
Please note that camp fees will be increased by $25 after June 30th, so register early.
