The Blasters
The Ukrainian Blasters are thrilled to announce that starting in March, 2013 Alyssa and Tiffany of 1MINDSET will start to train the Blasters Black!!! Currently Alyssa and Tiffany train the Union Juniors Girls Select Pool and also are lead trainers for the PDP Program at YSC.
ALYSSA RADU is a co-founder of 1MINDSET, responsible for all day-to day operations of the company. Prior to 1MINDSET, Ms. Radu gained significant experience in the business and sport industry.
- She spent the past eight-years as a Division I women’s soccer head coach, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). During her tenure at NJIT, she was named the Senior Women’s Administrator for the department, helping the institution, in all aspects, transfer from Division II athletics to Division I.
- Ms. Radu also held positions as the Director of Coaching for Pipeline Soccer Club (Baltimore, MD) and head coach at the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) club, Freestate Alliance (Bowie, MD). Prior to her college coaching career, she spent time as an Account Executive for Gameface Marketing LLC, working on event management projects such as US Women’s National Team Summer Campaign and as wel as the Public Relations Coordinator for Global Technology Operations LLC.
- Ms. Radu’s playing career started at Beadling Soccer Club (Pittsburgh, PA) where she also participated in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and Region I Pool.
- She then went on to be a four-year starter at Division I Rutgers University and had the opportunity to win a National Championship with the Players Development Academy (PDA) (Zarephath, NJ) as well as participate with the New Brunswick Splash, a semi-professional team.
- Her coaching philosophies and principles are crafted from her coaching licenses through USSF and NSCAA as well as her experience studying under the Assistant Director of Youth Academy for PSV-Eindhoven (Holland) as well as Manchester United and FC Barcelona Youth Academy coaches. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and currently resides in suburban Philadelphia.
TIFFANY WILLIAMS is a co-founder of 1MINDSET, responsible for all day-to day operations of the company.
- Prior to 1MINDSET, Ms. Williams spent 3 years as a Division I women’s soccer top assistant, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), 4 years as an Account Representative and Territory Manager at Moulding and Millwork, where she was recognized as one of the company’s top salespeople.
- Prior to her college coaching and sales career, she spent time as an Account Executive for Gameface Marketing LLC, working on event management projects such as NIKE Joga3. Ms. Williams also held positions of head coach at Pipeline Soccer Club (Baltimore, MD) and Jersey Knights Soccer Club (North Brunswick, NJ).
- Ms. Williams’ playing career started at the top-ranked youth soccer club, FC DELCO (Philadelphia, PA) where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
- She participated in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and Region I team and was also a 1998 High School All-America at Downingtown High School (Downingtown, PA).
- She then went on to play at Division I Rutgers University, where her playing career was cut short due to a career-ending injury.
- Ms. Williams did have the opportunity, alongside of Ms. Radu, to win a National Championship with the Players Development Academy (PDA) (Zarephath, NJ).
- Her coaching philosophies and principles have been built through each of her coaching experiences as well as the time she studied under the Assistant Director of Youth Academy for PSV-Eindhoven (Holland) and the Manchester United Youth Academy staff. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and currently resides in suburban Philadelphia.

Downingtown, Pa. (May 19, 2012) —The Eastern Pennsylvania Turkey Hill Challenge State Cup Championships finished off Saturday afternoon with the last 10 championship matches played at United Sports Training Center. Each team played its final match seeking the Challenge Cup Championship. The competition, run by Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, the governing body for youth soccer in the state and sponsored by Turkey Hill drew more than 500 teams, which had been competing for a shot at the finals since March. The Ukrainian Blasters Black U10 girls won the state title defeating Lower Merion 3-1 to close out the 6 week tournament.
