Our goal is simple -- to make Warrington Warriors Football a great experience for players and their families. To achieve that goal, we need help from everyone involved. Here's how you can help:
FACILITIES: Our facility is one of the nicest in our league. That's thanks to the Warriors families who have donated lots of time, talent and materials.
Each team will be assigned a week when they are "on-duty" to maintain our fields. That includes three or four people to help line the fields on a Thursday night or Friday afternoon.
At all times, we should all encourage our children to pick up any trash they see, anytime. As you leave the fields after practice, if you see an empty (or nearly empty) bottle on the ground, grab it and toss it on your way past a trash can.
SNACK STAND HELP: Our snack stand is a great asset to our program. It raises funds to help pay for new equipment, uniforms, etc. It's also great to know you can grab drinks or dinner, even a mouthguard, nearly every time you're at the field.
Each team will be assigned dates to help out at the snack stand. Each tackle family should expect to be assigned one shift at practice and one shift before or after your player's game (for each child playing). For practice shifts, please arrive at 6:15 and stay until closing. For games, please arrive 10 minutes before game time to allow the parents you are relieving enough time to get to their player's game. Each Flag Football & Cheerleading family will be asked to help out by working one evening shift during the season.
We do our best to accomodate your schedule by offering a selection of dates. If you cannot work your ENTIRE assigned shift, you MUST switch with someone else. If you cannot find anyone to trade with, please e-mail us and we can help you HIRE help for $25. We need at least 2 days notice for this option.
TEAM HELP: Each team needs a Team Parent to communicate all important information regarding your team and the organization. If you are on our e-mail distribution list, you will get e-mails regarding matters organization-wide. For specific team info, you must rely on the Team Parent. The Team Parent will distribute other team jobs as requested by the coach such as: Videographer, Weigh-in Parent, First Aid Parent, etc. Other help may be needed such as helping on the field as needed when running drills, etc.
OTHER HELP: There are many ways to help out. Please consider giving whatever time you can (no matter how little) to such events as the Beef & Beer, Homecoming, Apparel Sales, 50/50 Raffle Sales, etc.
Please check the various committees listed on the About Us page to see where help is needed and
contact us if you're interested in helping out.
We'll put you in touch with the right person.
