Incoming 9th Graders and New Students to ZCHS
If you are a incoming 9th grader or new student, please fill out the Google Doc. I will add you to the mailing list. This will allow you to receive any future team correspondences.

TC Teams Website
We will still be using TC Teams but will no longer be using TC Teams to email information. All information sent to parents and student athletes will be sent through Final Forms or through Parent Square. All team information will still be housed on TC Teams and be available to see all the information about the soccer program. There will no longer be a need to set up an account to access that material. You will just need to access the website. The web site can be found at https://www.tcteams.com/zchseagles/
Summer Training Sessions
IHSAA rules allow high school coaches to coach and train players from their respective schools during the summer months. ZCHS coaching staff will be having training/conditioning sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday with a 7v7 tournament on Thursday starting on June 16th from 4:00 to 6:00pm. This includes incoming freshmen. The training sessions will consist of technical and tactical skills without the normal competitive pressures that occur throughout the regular season. Summer training sessions will be held at 4400 S. 875 E. soccer stadium.
Physicals
Physicals and online consent forms for all players must be completed and on file with the ZCHS athletic department prior to summer training participation (June 16, 2026).
The physicals must have been done on or after April 1, 2026 to be valid for the summer training sessions and the regular 2026-2027 soccer season. ZCHS athletic department uses Final Forms for physicals and athletic consent forms. All physicals and consent forms must be done through the school’s Final Forms website. Final Forms is currently set up for the 2025- 2026 school year and will not except forms for the 2026-2027 school year right now. When it has been changed to the 2026-2027 school year, I will announce that it has occurred and you will be able to upload the physical and do the online forms.

Physicals must be signed (not stamped) by the doctor, have the doctor’s ID number, and be on the IHSAA Physical form. Info on the Physical form, RDT Form, and link to Final Forms can be found by clicking on the link below.

Moratorium Dates
The IHSAA has long had moratorium dates that cover the week of July 4th. This year’s week of July 4th moratorium dates are June 29th to July 5th. During this time, there is no ZCHS athletic events, trainings, contact with coaches, or use of facilities. There are also 5 additional IHSAA moratorium days to be decided by the individual schools. ZCHS additional moratorium dates are June 19, 25, 26, July 30, and July 1 (Dates are subject to change).
Summer Tournaments
We will be participating in our own tournament held on Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th. We will also be participating in the Pike tournament on June 20tht and Mooresville tournament on July17-19th . I will send out a Google Doc in June to determine who is available for the tournaments. We will have one or two teams for the Pike and Mooresville tournaments depending on athlete availability. If there are more athletes available than open team spots, returning varsity and upper classmen will be chosen first. We will have 3 teams for our tournament and all that wish to play will be placed on a team.
Participation and placement on the summer tournament teams will have no bearing on in season team placement. All in season team selections will be done through the tryouts starting on August 4th.
Tryouts
Zionsville High School Boys Soccer has three soccer teams comprised of a varsity team, a reserve team and a C team. Tryouts for those teams will begin on Monday, August 3rd and will continue through Tuesday, August 4th. During the evening of August 4th, the team rosters will be posted on our website and emailed to all. Evaluations will be performed by the boys coaching staff.
Trainer’s Summer Schedule
Our trainers will be available throughout the summer for athletes who get injured and need assessed over the summer break. During the summer, they will be in the high school athletic training room (field house entrance).
Dates and times have not been determined. I will send out the dates and times when they become available.
Green/White Scrimmage, Cookout and Parent Meeting
The Green/White Scrimmage, Cookout and Parent Meeting will our annual gathering of student athletes, parents and coaches to preview all teams in intersquad scrimmages and to participate in the cookout immediately following the games. It is a great opportunity to meet all of the other parents and the coaching staff. The Green/White inters quad scrimmage will be on Saturday, August 8th from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm in the ZHS soccer stadium.
ZCHS Athletic Code of Conduct and Boys Soccer Team Rules
The athletic code of conduct and boys soccer team rules is enforced year round not just during the soccer season. Participation in athletics is a privilege and student athletes are held to a higher standard of conduct. Student athletes are expected to represent themselves, families, school, and soccer team in a positive manner. This includes all social media. Fitness Tests and Standards

Summer Weight Lifting Program and Advanced Physical Conditioning
Monday and Wednesday 9:5-10:00am beginning June 1st in the ZCHS weight room.
Calendar

ZCS Athletic Participation Fee
The Zionsville Community School Board of Trustees approved a participation fee for athletics beginning the school year 2011-2012. The participation fee is $50. Collection of the participation fee is done through the school and will occur after the selection of teams and prior to the first competition. Participation fee must be paid prior to game participation. Please contact Athletic Director Mr. Schellhase with any questions.
Boys Soccer Team Participation Fee
The yet to be determined boy’s soccer participation fee covers the expenses of practice pack (2 t-shirts, 2 shorts and 2 green and white game socks) away game meals (Subway) and drinks, senior night, year-end banquet, website yearly subscription, alumni game, Green/White scrimmage games, Zionsville Classic, etc… Participation fee will be determined after our Summer Tournament fund raiser and be released at a later date. It was $200 for 25-26 school year. The practice pack is preordered to be available when teams are selected.
Shin Guards
The IHSAA has adopted the NFHS shin guard specifications. All high school soccer players must wear shin guards that are age/size appropriate and stamped with the NOCSAE logo; Packaging will include a chart to determine the appropriate shin guard to the size of the player. If the shin guards are not stamped with the NOCSAE logo and are not age appropriate, the player will be considered improperly equipped and will not be able to participate in the game. Please make sure you shin guards have the NOCSAE logo or purchase new shin guards with the NOCSAE logo.
Alumni Game
The alumni game will be on July 15th at 7:00pm in the ZCHS soccer stadium.
Spirit Wear
Information will be made available in June and Thursday, August 7th for ordering spirit wear.
Soccer Booster Club
Much of the success and enjoyment of the season is made possible by our parent’s involvement in the soccer booster club. Involvement and participation are encouraged. Please become an active member in the soccer booster club.
