There is a lot of important information. Please read through carefully and respond to the needed items.

***Transportation***

As we have done for the last couple of years, the school will not be providing transportation to the Hoosier Cup games. Transportation to and from for Friday and Saturday games will be the responsibility of the parents.

Since all players are using alternate transportation, the “Away Game Bus Opt Out” SignUp Genius must be filled out. If you have previously have filled out the “Away Game Bus Opt Out” SignUp form, you will not need to fill out again. Filling out the form once is all that is needed. Secondly, an email must be sent to me stating that player has alternate transportation for both Friday, September 1st and Saturday, September 2nd. Please have this completed prior to Tuesday, August 29th. rjordan@zcs.k12.in.us

Early Dismissal

Friday traffic and IU home football games have made for long trips to Bloomington. IU is hosting Ohio State which has makes for more traffic. All of the team members have a 2:00pm early dismissal on Friday, September 1st. Players can be excused at 2:00 pm but must exit through the main office.

Game Day Meal

We need a few parents to help out with ordering food, pick up, Gatorades, and securing a shelter at Karst Park. Please let me know if you can help. It’s a lot easier than it sounds! Please contact me if you can help.

Fan Admission & Parking

All fans MUST use the main entrance for Karst Farm Park on Endwright Road. We will direct cars to enter in two lanes. Fans should bring lawn chairs, as there is very limited bleacher seating on some fields.

Admission rates are per person:

Please encourage your fans to have their QR codes printed or ready on their phones, or have their self-verify page up on their phone for our gate workers to verify.

These rates are based on the regular admission price (actually cheaper than our usual $7 ticket) to watch a high school soccer game. All teams play one game Friday night and two games Saturday. Likely, spectators will see more than their team's three games.

Bloomington North has moved to Online ticketing for this year through Eventlink. Everyone must have an online ticket for Friday Night ($6.00 + a service fee) and a ticket for Saturday ($12.00 + a service fee). We will have the ability to take credit cards at the gate but this will slow traffic flow, so please purchase your tickets ahead of time and have them ready! We will not have cash sales at the gate. Fans must have their QR code ready to scan (printed or on their phones) or their phone ready to “self-verify” by our gate workers to keep traffic flowing.

Please share this with anyone that you know is coming and have your players and parents share this with anyone that they know is coming.

Players are free and not charged an admission fee. The player must have a player pass and be able to show their jersey at the admission gate.

Travel Advisory:

Indiana University will host Ohio State in Football on Saturday, Sept 2nd at 3:30pm. Please allow yourself extra time for travel because there will be a lot of RV's and cars heading to Bloomington for the weekend.

Apparel
Hoosier Cup t-shirts and sweatshirts will be available at Karst Farm Park during the tournament. These purchases can be made with cash or credit card.

Concessions

Concessions will be available at two sites, between Field K1 and K2 and next to Field K4. Cash and Credit card will be accepted.
